Adding Audio

Note: Only the desktop version of a Website Builder will support the audio player.

Using Website Builder, you can add audio files in MP3 format to play music on your website.

1. Log in to your ITEGY account.
2. In your Products list click Website Builder, and then click Manage next to the account you want to use.
3. Click Design Your Pages.
4. If necessary, from the Page menu, select the page you want to modify.
5. Click Media, and then drag and drop the Audio icon over a Drop Zone. Drop Zones display on your Web pages when you hover over them.
6. From the Choose source menu, select one of the following sources, and then perform the appropriate steps:
   • Upload Audio — Upload an audio file from your computer:
     • From the Select and upload your audio section, click Browse.
     • Select the audio file you want to upload, and then click Open. To select multiple files, hold the Ctrl key while selecting files.
     • Click Upload.
   • Select audio on file — Select an audio file uploaded to your account:
     • From the Select audio menu, select the audio file you want to add.
     • To preview an audio file, click Play.
     • Go to the Settings (optional) section
     • To begin playing audio when visitors reach your Web page, select Autostart this file.
     • To automatically replay audio, select Loop this file.
     • From the Select Player section, select the type of audio player you want to use.
   • Enter the URL to the MP3 File — Link to a URL where your audio file exists:
     • In the Enter URL field, enter the URL where your file exists.
     • Go to the Settings (optional) section.
     • To begin playing audio once visitors reach your Web page, select Autostart this file.
     • To automatically replay audio, select Loop this file.
     • From the Select Player section, select the type of audio player you want to use.
7. Click OK.
